Physie is a combination of Ballet, Jazz, Pilates, and Strength work. We teach from the APDA (Australian Physie and Dance Association) syllabus, and compete as Randwick Physie. Randwick is known as one of the top clubs in Australia and has been a club for 50 years. We have had amazing success in both Individual and Team Compeitions and physie is a sport you can continue doing all of your life.
APDA is an exciting new physie association launched in 2012 and one of our teachers, Fiona is not only a proud founding teacher but also part of the choreography team. Physie has been a sport for women in Australia for over 120 years and APDA was born out of a need for a syllabus and association that is more in line with current dance trends whilst still having all the traditional benifits of physie. Team and Individual Competitions are held every year and culminate in the National Finals held in November at the Sydney Opera House.
